Les Cheneaux is your hub for snowmobiling fun in the Eastern UP! The Les Cheneaux Area provides easy access to lodging, fuel, and trails. Trails are open December 1 through April 1. Maps are available at the Les Cheneaux Welcome Center.

Please keep these points in mind:
- Trails are open from December 1 to April 1.
- Many trails run on private property. Please sray on the trail.
- Use common sense.
- Dispose of litter properly.
- Without the cooperation of property owners, the trail system would not be possible.
- Watch for cross country skiers who also use these trails.
- Safety of channel ice can vary greatly from day to day. Check local ice
- conditions before riding on Les Cheneaux waters.
- Snowmobiles may be operated on all unplowed Mackinac County roads and to the far right of plowed county roads.
- Local speed limits must be obeyed.
- Snowmobiles may be operated on the unplowed portion of state highways.
